Description
English: The Shotts Burn In spate as it nears Salsburgh sewage treatment works at Bogfoot. This weir was built by the Airdrie & District Water Board in order to raise the water level so a portion of the flow could be diverted in to a sluice and from there via underground pipe to Roughrigg Reservoir.
