| Description |
English: The Smestow Brook at Trescott, Staffordshire Looking downstream. The Smestow Brook has its source in Park Village (Wolverhampton), and flows towards Kinver where it meets the River Stour. Here at Trescott, flooding is common after storms. Towards Greensforge (five miles south) considerable efforts have been made in recent years to dredge and deepen the brook because of frequent flooding following heavy rain. From there to Kinver it is the River Smestow, but hardly anyone calls it that. |
