На марке в блоке — портрет Александра Ярославича (1220—1263) — по его изображению на ордене Александра Невского (1942) — и предводительствуемой им русской дружины в атаке. На полях блока — обороняющиеся шведские войска. Памятный текст и строка из описания битвы в летописи: «и бысть сеча велика…».
