English: The bay west of Trefor pier The bay is divided into two by the presence of a breakwater at the mouth of Afon Tal. This has led to the formation of two stone beaches of unequal width, which is clear evidence of a west-east long-shore drift. The effects of wave erosion are very apparent along landward margins of the two beaches. |
