Summary edit

Description
English: The church of All Saints - porch Flanked by Tuscan columns. The former (old) All Saints church was destroyed when a Mosquito bomber crashed into it in 1944, and the new building is the only parish church in the whole of Norfolk that was erected after WWII > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/831242. The church was built in brick and flint by the architect James Fletcher Watson who also designed the three-decker pulpit > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/831253. The unusual south doorway is flanked by two Tuscan columns (seen here). Several continental stained glass roundels are inserted in the windows; the church also houses a memorial fashioned from parts of the crashed plane to the pilot and co-pilot, who both lost their lives. The church of all Saints is open every day. For more information see: http://www.norfolkchurches.co.uk/bawdeswell/bawdeswell.htm
