Summary edit

Description
English: The city walls and Bonewaldesthorne's Tower. The angled line across the walkway, indicates where the city walls were breached, as approved by the Chester and Holyhead Railway Act 1844, to make way for the North Wales railway line. Supported on iron girders the sandstone walls were rebuilt to preserve the continuity of the walls. In the distance is Bonewaldesthorne's Tower where the walls turn to the east. See also 632785
