DescriptionThe disappearing coastline of Holderness^ - geograph.org.uk - 1351212.jpg |
English: Mappleton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The disappearing coastline of Holderness! This stretch of the Holderness coast, near Mappleton, is one of the fastest-eroding areas of our coastline. The derelict barn, perched precariously at the top of the boulder clay cliff, is gradually falling victim to the sea and the cliffside is littered with debris from buildings that have succumbed to landslip and coastal erosion. |
