Description
English: The doorway of Rowley's Mansion, Shrewsbury. The Rowley's large 16C timber framed house (see other photo) was extended by a brick wing in 1618. The rather odd porch has columns each side, the beginnings of the Classical style. However it might an alteration during the restoration of the house in 1934.
