Summary edit

Description
English: The entrance to the Workshop/Gweithdy at Din Lligwy The workshop at the Romano-British settlement of Din Lligwy is set down below the other levels. The massive stone walls are five feet thick (approx 1.5 metres) and were probably surmounted by a timber and thatch roof. Excavations have found a cobbled floor and evidence of iron-working, and there was also the usual evidence of occupation such as pottery, tools, and shellfish. See also 954712. The bi-lingual information board along with an artist's impression is against the perimeter wall further to the left. See also 954602.
