Summary edit

Description
English: The hill north-east of Ballavair, Bride. On top of this hill is a mound which was recorded as "having been opened by boys in the 1920s". We may never know it was a Viking burial mound or something much older. The hill is next to the sea and rises to 68m, and would be ideal for a Viking burial which were often positioned with a view of the sea. This picture is taken from A10 Ramsey-Bride Road looking east.
