there's an old pier by the river. boats pass by but they don't stop anymore. it's ok. he likes to watch them going left, going right, some into the sea for long trips, some just making the cross all day long. it's ok. he told me that day... what he misses the most are the steps of people: some short, some long, some ran, some jumped, some shout, some laugh... that's what he misses the most. |
