DescriptionThe mechanism that generates prime numbers.png |
English: This is an improved version of the second image in my article "Sieve of Eratosthenes distribution of prime numbers and RH" published on viXra.com at this link https://vixra.org/abs/2012.0013. The attempt is to summarize the mechanism that generates prime numbers. The circles indicate that the numbers written inside them cannot be used for subsequent calculations; on the contrary, the squares indicate that the numbers written inside them are to be used. Starting simply from 1, the mechanism generates all prime numbers and all composite numbers through an infinite series of cycles each consisting of two steps. The first step consists in replicating a precise number of times the situation resulting from the previous cycle, the second step identifies the "current" prime number and its multiples, marking them as no longer usable for the calculations. By operating in this way, at the end of each cycle, the correct information is obtained to continue with the next cycle.
