Description
English: The northern end of Y Lon Goed in the yard of Hendre Cennin Isaf Y Lon Goed (= wood lane)follows a route southwards to the coast and was built in the early 19thC by the Talhenbont Estate to provide an easy route for bringing sand and lime to farms on the estate. Lined with oaks, the road has been immortalised by the well known "telyneg" written by the poet R Williams-Parry.
