Summary
editDescriptionThe other Cwm Hengwm - geograph.org.uk - 1189956.jpg |
English: The other Cwm Hengwm. Rather confusingly there are two rivers called Afon Hengwm only a few kilometres apart. The bigger Hengwm 1189964, 3km to the south, is one of the main rivers feeding Nant y Moch reservoir, which drains into the Afon Rheidol. The Hengwm at the bottom of this forested valley 1189961 runs north and drains into the Dyfi. The remote moorland in between probably was rarely crossed in days when the rivers were named by local people. |
