English: The renovated barn at Watton Abbey Gable end, Watton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This C16 outbuilding with later additions and alterations which was in a very poor state has been renovated. The walls with a grant from Natural England and the Country Houses Foundation. The reinstatement of the roof a grant from Historic England. The work looks to be completed, as to what the building is to be used for I will attempt to find out. Look at some of the earlier photos of the building, Paul Harrop has one with huge balks of timber supporting this gable end. |
