| Description |
English: Sundial on the west tower of St Andrew's parish church, Kirkandrews-upon-Esk, Cumbria, seen from the west. It was installed in 1918 to replace a clock. The dial is dedicated to the safe return of two Graham brothers from the First World War. The English inscription around the dial reads: FOR OUR TWO DEAR SONS FFG & RPG WHO LIVED TO COME HOME FROM THE GREAT WAR THANKS TO GOD ALONE. |
