Description
English: These painted storks (Mycteria leucocephala) stand still on the shores of a lake in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve of Maharashtra state in India. They are known to feed in groups in shallow wetlands. Painted stork of India has a place in the list of protected species. More famous as a Tiger Reserve, Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, is also rich in bird life and is visited by many birders every year.
