dy, Black War-rior and White Dome Geysers; Firehole Lake;Surprise, Mushroom, Buffalo, Five Sisters (to THE TIME, THE PLACE AXD THE GIRL. whom no one has ever received an introduction)and many other spit-fire springs. Here themammoth Paint Pots—cauldrons of boiling hotclay which are beautifully colored with all thetints of the rainbow—are located, and thewomen take to them naturally for their col-oring properties, and get burnt for monkeyingwith natures toilet articles. Excelsior Geyserhas been quiet for years, but its crater is stillthere. Prismatic Lake, Hells Half Acre andTurquoise Pool at the Midway must be men-tioned also as points of worthy interest. Youwould hold your breath, Billy, at the wonderfulplay of her features, and as her lustrous eyessparkled and glistened beneath her daintilypenciled brows—her red lips, now pursed up,now in a half pout, were tantalizingly tempting, while her latticed fronts rose and fell with theplay of her emotions. I fell into a regular old-fashioned love spasm over this Bean-town prod- 29
