English: The view east from Elvaston Castle. The avenue runs for about two kilometres to the outskirts of the village of Ambaston. About half a kilometre from the castle it is split by the B5010 and beyond that it now runs though farmland and many of the trees have gone, but it can still be discerned 1640399.
To take this I was stood in the centre of the frame of 54092. |
