Summary edit

Description

At one point in history these waters were used to carry cargo ships.

Sailors who took to the open seas often scoffed at sailors in the Great Lakes, who figured that the "puddles" they sailed on were nothing.

In reality, the waters of the Great Lakes were treacherous.

Storms would form out of seemingly nowhere and send ships to their doom.

In the past, the Great Lakes were used for transport.

Today, they are used for recreation.
