Description
English: The waterwheel at the National Slate Museum. The 50-ft diameter suspension waterwheel, built in Caernarfon in 1870, provided power for the slate quarry workshops, and ran until 1925. The wheel again turns, and the workshops and foundry are restored as one of the attractions at the National Slate Museum.
