Description
English: The name of this delicious dry sweet is "Thekua" which is mainly made up of wheat flour , melted sugar & ghee and sometimes chopped dry coconut is also mixed with it to make it more nutritious. It is served as Prasadam in Chhath Pooja (a Hindu festival which is dedicated to the god Sun for sustaining life on earth and Chhathi Maiya). It is very popular in Nepal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.
