English: Yet, dried, salt-cured chunks of meat from the salt-water mollusk, Cymbium marmoratum, as used in ceebu jen/thiéboudiène and other popular Senegalese dishes. Ceebu jen/thiéboudiène are the same word; ceeb means 'rice' ceebu means 'rice with' and jen means 'fish'; is written according to the official Senegalese alphabet, while thiéboudiène (thiébou diène) is written according to the French alphabet.
