Backcountry Campsite

This campsite is reachable from the Ek Bay Trailhead, located at the east end of Lost Bay (Kabetogama Lake). Follow the trail 1-mile north to Jorgens Lake then 1- mile west to Little Shoepack Lake. The canoe (48 29.226, -092 52.180), is located at the end of the trail and is used for the Little Shoepack campsite. This canoe is also necessary to access Shoepack Lake. From the Little Shoepack canoe, paddle .8-mile, northwest to the portage trail at the far end of Little Shoepack Lake to the Shoepack rowboat (48 29.629, -092 53.260). To get to the Shoepack campsite, row .8-mile northeast to the campsite located on the east shoreline of Shoepack Lake.
