Description The cars of the 'tourism' train were in pristine condition. I caught just the briefest of glimpses of the steam locomotive (facing the other direction) at the entrance to the shed far way, but could never spot it when I looked again. The guards had allowed me just ten minutes to poke around, and refused permission to shoot into the shed. The North Borneo Railway steam hauled 'tourism train' runs two weekly departures (Wednesday and Saturday) and a trip typically runs for 4 hours. An early booking of at least 1 (one) day before departure is required. (Kota Kinabalu, East Malaysia, Nov. 2013)
