    • w:Frederick, Duke of Bavaria (1339-1393), second son of Stephen II and Elizabeth of Sicily (1310–1349), a daughter of w:Frederick III of Sicily and Eleanor of Anjou. He married w:Maddalena Visconti (1366-1404), a daughter of w:Bernabò Visconti and his wife Beatrice Regina della Scala.
      • w:Henry XVI, Duke of Bavaria (1386-1450), who married Margaret of Austria, a daughter of Duke Albert IV of Austria and Joanna Sophia of Bavaria.
        • w:Louis IX, Duke of Bavaria (1417-1479) "Louis the Rich", who married Amalia of Saxony, the oldest of the children of the Elector Frederick II of Saxony
          • Margaret of Bavaria (1456-1501), who married w:Philip, Elector Palatine (1476-1508) (House of Wiottelsbach)
            • w:Elisabeth of the Palatinate, Landgravine of Hesse (1483-1522), who married secondly w:Philip I, Margrave of Baden (1479-1533)
