Description
English: Mud geyser, Thumb Paint Pots, southern Lower Group, West Thumb Geyser Basin, Yellowstone Hotspot, northwestern Wyoming, USA in July 2012. The mud geyser shown had a short-duration, spurting eruption on 6 July 2012. Fresh, low-viscosity mud quickly spread out over the surrounding dry, mud cracked surface.
