Summary
editDescriptionTjakkeli.jpg |
English: Tjakkeli, a mountain in Sarek national park, Sweden.
Geologically, the mountain is made of mylonitised syenitoid-granitic igneous rock above quartz arenite sedimentary rock (about 1,880 to 490 million years old), originally formed in another location and transported eastward during the Caledonian orogeny, about 450 million years ago, as part of a large nappe fold, thrust on top of the underlying Svecokarelian basement (about 1,920 to 1,870 million years old). Svenska: Tjakkeli, ett berg i Sareks nationalpark |
