English: Place: Pingtung, Taiwan
Yulon Motor, the local producer of Nissan cars and the local brand Luxgen and old Yue Loong brand, assembled the Geely products (Gleagle) Panda (M'car and W'car) and (Emgrand) EC7 and EC7-RV (M'way and Q'way). Sales were poor, so that Yulon decided to kill the brand in 2013. Apparently the Republic of China is not really fond of Chinese cars. With the disappearance of tobe and Chery, Chinese brands are only offering commercial cars and trucks. |
