Description
English: Tokugawa Yoshinobu in Hunting clothes with a double-barreled rifle and an English Pointer dog. Photographed in a studio during the time when he lived in a mansion in Fugetsuro, Shizuoka City. After Yoshinobu lost the Boshin War (1868-1869), Imperial rule was restored. Yoshinobu lost all his Shogunate power on 3 January 1868. Among his hobbies, the prince especially liked hunting, and was absorbed in hunting with a falcon and a hunting rifle.
