Description
English: Tomb of William de la Mare, Welwick, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
Lavishly Decorated late 14th century tomb in the south aisle of St.Mary's church. Traditionally held to be that of one of the Albermarle family, originally at Burstall Priory, but brought to Welwick in 1540. The current view is that it is William de la Mare, Provost of Beverley Minster from 1338 to 1360.
