Summary

DescriptionToms Restaurant (6338859758).jpg	Located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, only two blocks away from Columbia University, Tom's Restaurant is a well-known landmark. This restaurant was portrayed often in the television show Seinfeld in the 1990s, and Suzanne Vega wrote a song, "Tom's Diner," inspired by this restaurant, as well. In front is a blurry look at a New York City icon - the yellow cab. Like most, it is a long-wheelbase version of the Ford Crown Victoria, built exclusively for taxi use, and rarely seen outside New York City and Chicago. Though with the Crown Vic having ended production two months earlier, its days on the streets of New York will be numbered soon.
