Summary edit
DescriptionToneCajon-Snare.jpg |
I took this photo of a Snare ToneCajon in my home on December 12th, 2005. A modern cajon, it incorporates 2 sets of snares (similar to what is used on a traditional snare drum) which press against the front playing surface. The deep and resonant bass tone contrasts well with the high tones played on the top corners. The loose top corners can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the screws on the face. The snare wires can be tightened or loosened for a "drier" or "wetter" sound by way of the two screws on the top of the cajon. |
