| Description |
(1 in a multiple picture album) On a day with bright sunlight, with a puffy clouds sailing across a blue sky, the Utah Badlands look so lovely you wonder why they got their name. However, remember that these names came from the first people to traverse the land. At on pull out there are a series of historical markers. One of them bears a quote from a pioneer wife and mother. It says, and I paraphrase, "Curse the man who would take his family through such a God forsaken place." I guess the world looks different when you can come and go in an air conditioned car. |
