Summary edit

Description Despite the rustic functionality of the caboose, which served as a guard's car/ brakesman's workstation/ observation car/ repair station/ brake van, the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario offers it's three cabooses to the public as accommodation. (I'd love to stay in one of these!). The functional interior has accordingly been fitted as such. Here is a cabinet in one of the caboose-hotels with top end crockery.
