English: Tornesch - Esinger Road 102 - Johannes Schwennesen School - Church hall - Year Built: 1906 - Photo by 2018
- The school was built in 1906, after the old school (at Alter Schulweg) had become too small. It is a brick building in neo-Gothic style. The horseshoe-shaped floor plan is oriented so that two gables point to the street. In the right wing was the Esinger church hall, which was equipped with pews, pulpit and chandeliers. At the entrance portal and the shape of the windows, the former sacral use can still be seen. From 1959 - after the construction of the church (Jürgen-Siemsen-Straße 28) - the school used the former church hall. In 2007, the hall was again made largely original.
