Transcripción de la ficha:

"Electa ut sol [brillante como el Sol] y Pulchra ut luna [bella como la Luna], María es símbolo de pureza, vestida de Sol y coronada por doce estrellas, como la refiere el apóstol san Juan en el Apocalipsis. La Virgen aparece enmarcada por las devociones lauretanas (espejo, azucena, escalera, torres, puerta y fuente), que la exaltan sin mácula sobre la representación demoniaca-herencia de los bestiarios medievales-que aparece bajo su planta. Para el investigador Jaime Cuadriello, estos seres pisciformes encarnaban el "vicio de la carne" y que es el motivo causal del pecado original. Baltasar de Echave Orio pintó el rostro y su hijo, el de los azules, la representa en la Gloria como el triunfo del Bien sobre el Mal." (Símbolo y Reino, 2023)
