Description

La Tour Randonne, appelée aussi la chapelle de Bon Secours située sur les hauteurs du quartier des Forts : le 21 octobre 1862, M.L Francou, curé de Nyons, se rendit acquéreur de l'antique tour Randonne et la fit convertir en chapelle. La première messe y fut célébrée le 14 août 1864. Sur le vieux donjon se dresse une pyramide de trois étages d'arcades à quatre faces ornées de statues. Elle soutient une statue colossale de la Vierge. Le monument, en y comprenant la tour Randonne elle-même, mesure 24 mètres de hauteur et domine toute la vallée. La tour Randonne fut jadis construite par Randonne de Montaubant en 1280, rattachant ainsi sa baronnie à Nyons. Un tablernacle du xviie siècle est classé au titre des monuments historiques.
