Description
English: Sculpture of the Assumption of Mary attributed to Nicolas Lecreux (1734-1799). The sculpture was originally in the Church of St Margaret (the ancient abbatiale St Médard). It was unveiled in the Church of the Seminary of Tournai on 24 March 2006.
Nederlands: Sculptuur van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Hemelvaart toegeschreven aan Nicolas Lecreux (1734-1799). Het beeld hing oorspronkelijk in de St-Marguerite kerk (voorheen St Médard). Het werd onthuld in de kerk van het seminarie van Doornik op 24 maart 2006.
Français : Sculpture de l’Assomption de Marie, attribuée à Nicolas Lecreux (1734-1799). Sculpture provenant de l’église Sainte-Marguerite, anciennement abbatiale Saint-Médard, pour laquelle elle avait été réalisée. Le 24 mars 2006 l’œuvre a été installée dans l’église du Séminaire de Tournai.
