Description

List of mills in Tameside

English Fine Cotton's Tower Mill, Park Road, Dukinfield. In 2015 this 1885 mill, designed by Potts for Christian Koch was chosen as the new manufacturing site for English Fine Cotton. The company is investing £4.8m with a £1m grant from the Textile Growth Programme to restart cotton production in Manchester for the first time since the 1980's. The mill will use new technology and produce cotton for high value products
