Description

Prešov, rímskokatolícka neskorogotická Konkatedrála Dómu sv.Mikuláša v Prešove. Región Šariš. Chrám začali stavať po roku 1347 na mieste staršej sakrálnej stavby.Vežu kostola dokončili v roku 1515. V interiéri kostola sú plastiky rezbára Majstra Pavla z Levoče. V rokoch 1981 až 1989 prebiehala celková obnova chrámu s nákladom 15 848 087 korún československých. Kostol je dominantou mesta a stojí na Hlavnej ulici.Rozmery kostola dĺžka 54,7 metra,šírka 34 až 45 metrov, vnútorná výška lode bez veže je 16 metrov a výška s vežou je 71 metrov. V letnej sezóne je možný výstup na vežu kostola po 200 schodoch do výšky 60 metrov.

V pozadí evanjelický Chrám Svätej Trojice a stará budova evanjelického kolégia.
