| Description |
As the Chinese name indicates, this shopping mall is located in East Tsim Sha Tsui. In addition to McDonald's, there are Indian and Korean restaurants located inside. It takes a bit of effort to find Indian and Korean places in Hong Kong, whereas Japanese eateries are plentiful. As I had come in from Seoul only for a weekend, I did not eat any Korean food for the duration of my Hong Kong visit. At McDonald's, it is possible to pay for my meal with an Octopus debit card used for mass transit, though my 3-day tourist unlimited-use Octopus card does not carry any cash value for that purpose. I can also pay in mainland Chinese renminbi, though the exchange rate will be 1:1 which is 10% lousier than official. Hong Kong floor numbering convention is British, with first floor being located above ground floor. At many buildings including this one, there are two ground floors, upper (UG) and lower (LG), due to their location on sloped terrain resulting in both ground floors having street-level access. |
