English: Track chart for the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS America (CVA-66) used to a press conference of Rear Admiral Lawrence R. Geis aboard the carrier on 7 June 1967. It was held to disprove claims that the U.S. Sith Fleet had supported the Israelis in the 1967 Arabi-Israeli War ("Six-Day War"). America, with assigned Attack Carrier Air Wing 6 (CVW-6), was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea from 10 January to 20 December 1967. |
