Summary edit
DescriptionTrack down to the ford at Rhyd - geograph.org.uk - 527875.jpg |
English: Track down to the ford at Rhyd This well used track was very muddy after the recent heavy rain.
It is in fact an (unclassified) council road, and has become very muddy through frequent use by greenlaners. It crosses the river at the ford and is impassible when the river is in spate. The full name of the ford is Rhyd-yr-Abadau (Abbots' Ford), one of many names which refer to sites of former monasteries in the area. |
