| Description |
English: Track from the summit of Cairnsmore of Fleet, Galloway Bardrochwood Moor can be seen as the forestry to the right. The track enters the woods here and descends continuously to reach Cairnsmore Farm NX 470 639. Climbers can park in an area a kilometre beyond the farm buildings. At 711 metres, Cairnsmore is the highest hill in this vicinity of the Solway coast. There are a number of ascents, from all quarters, but this is the most straightforward. |
