Summary edit

Description A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District contractor 'track-walks' a new American River levee section in the River Park neighborhood of Sacramento, California Nov. 18, 2014. The parallel track marks, left behind by heavy construction equipment, is necessary to help hold a protective grass mixture about to be sprayed on the levee's slopes. Once sprouted, the mixture is designed to help shield the slopes from future erosion. (U.S. Army photo by Todd Plain/Released)
