English: Traffic at Wood End Lock, near Fradley, Staffordshire Trent and Mersey Canal. The canal was built during the years 1766 and 1777, originally surveyed and engineered by James Brindley, who died in 1772. This lock (No 20) is not marked on the OS 1:50000 map shown on this page.
