Description
Nederlands: Eind 2011 ging een ploeg documentairemakers van Molukse afkomst en een ploeg van Marokkaanse afkomst op onderzoek uit in de wijk. De Molukse ploeg filmde in de Molukse gemeenschap, de Marokkaanse ploeg in de Marokkaanse gemeenschap. Aan de hand van de afzonderlijke getuigenissen wordt een beeld geschetst van de gebeurtenissen rond de jaarwisseling 2009-2010 en wat er daarna gebeurde. Dezelfde feiten worden nogal verschillend beleefd en verklaard, dat blijkt uit de documentaire: Twee Waarheden in Culemborg. Het is een unieke documentaire geworden, waarin het verhaal van beide kanten wordt verteld.


TWEE WAARHEDEN IN CULEMBORG IN DE PRIJZEN GEVALLEN Eurovision, de televisie groep van de Ebu kiest elk jaar op haar jaarlijkse bijeenkomst, dit keer in Kopenhagen, succesvolle programma's uit die ze presenteert aan alle publieke omroepen in Europa als voorbeeld om eventueel ook te presenteren; de 'Proud to present award'. In de categorie interculturele programma's en diversiteit is Twee waarheden in Culemborg uitverkozen door de omroepen als inspirerend programma dat navolging verdient.
