| Description |
English: The view east along the Haymarket Yards tram siding on the Edinburgh Trams system. This is the only siding on the main line; it's connected to the eastbound track but is also accessible via crossovers from the westbound one too (on which a tram is seen passing). At this time the system was in the final few months of testing, which explains why the destination display on the tram appears to be "Edinburgh Trams", as opposed to what it would normally display in service - "Airport". As the signal (No. HAY PPI 02) in the centre of the shot indicates, eastbound trams are currently being directed 'right', i.e. remaining on the main line. |
