| Description |
English: Transco Gas Pipeline 1988 saw a major earth moving project pass through the parish of Great Gidding. British Gas installed the first of two national grid pipelines. The other one was laid in 1997 1036695 The project was carried out by Murphy's. The pipeline ran between the Helpston Compressor Station and a similar facility on Kimbolton Airfield. The pipeline route ran to the south of the village of Great Gidding. |
